The Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report estimates working gas held in underground storage in the Lower 48 states and reports the net change from the previous week.

Natural gas available for withdrawal from storage, distinct from base gas needed to maintain facility pressure.
Bcf
Billion cubic feet, the standard unit used here for the weekly net inventory change.
Injection season
The part of the year when inventories generally build as supply exceeds immediate consumption.
Withdrawal season
The part of the year when stored gas is commonly drawn down to meet heating and other demand.
